CONGRATULATIONS ON QUALIFYING

The LEIBER Group in Emmingen had the pleasure of congratulating its newly-qualified junior employees on passing their final exam in the company of friends.

The young technicians spent almost three and a half years at the in-house training centre learning the basic professional skills to become toolmakers and precision mechanics before being trained in production departments such as equipment construction, unfinished parts manufacturing, mechanical machining and maintenance. All five employees were taken on on permanent employment contracts in their desired departments where they had already spent the final months of their training.

This year's training class still has spaces available for process mechanics in nonferrous metals. Training as a process mechanic is becoming increasingly important as more and more high-tech forging lines with robotic technology will be employed in the future, which can only be supervised and serviced by well-trained specialists.
