LEIBER HAS REASON TO CELEBRATE

On Friday 12/12/2014, the works council and the company management of the LEIBER Group in Emmingen hosted this year's works meeting and subsequent end of year party in the Schloßbühlhalle in Liptingen.

And there was reason to celebrate! In 2014 LEIBER added 50 permanent employees to its workforce. This means that the company now employs 470 people in Emmingen. Many of the employees who were formerly employed as subcontractors have now been given permanent employment contracts, with others already signed up.

“We would gladly have hired more. And in our training centre too there are still a few free positions.” says managing director Dr. Rolf Leiber.

In the 2014 financial year LEIBER registered an annual turnover of over 100 million euro – the highest amount since the company came into being. In light of the stable order situation the two managing directors, Dr. Leiber and Dr. Felix Schmieder, predicted even further growth for 2015.

Following this the management, the personnel management and the works council thanked this year's guests of honour for their ten years of company service and their loyalty to the company. As a thank-you each guest of honour received an anniversary bonus, a gift voucher and a Chamber of Industry and Commerce certificate.

Special thanks were reserved for Mr. Andreas König for his 25 years of company service. Mr. König trained as a toolmaker with the LEIBER Group and today works in equipment construction.
