A CONNECTION THAT LASTS:
"LEIBER SENIORS" VISIT FORGE
EMMINGEN-LIPTINGEN | Every generation leaves its mark. Without the work of our predecessors, without their diligence, their commitment and their courage, what we can build on today would be unthinkable. And we can be proud of that. The solidarity of the "LEIBER Seniors" with their former place of work bears witness to this fruitful tradition.
Zugegeben, Recently, about 30 "alumni" visited the production at the Emmingen-Liptingen site. Together with former Managing Director Horst Leiber, they took a look at today's production. Among them was a former employee, born in 1938, who joined LEIBER in 1955. A brief look back: at that time, production was still taking place under the management of company founder Valentin Leiber at another location in comparatively modest dimensions. Mrs Wissler and the other visitors are contemporary witnesses and co-creators of an astonishing process of change that has made LEIBER an indispensable and relevant company in the aluminium forging industry.
At the end of the day, the current managing partner Dr. Rolf Leiber invited the guests to a cosy get-together with cool drinks and delicious sausage or cheese salad. Incidentally, this is also a certainty that may connects generations: “If you feel tired in the evening hours, eat sausage salad, it really empowers!”
