THUMBS UP FOR THE TOP TRAINEE
BONN (jw) | LEIBER apprentice Abdulla Ahmeti was presented with the ‘Azubi Award’ by the Industrieverband Massivumformung e. V. (IMU) in Bonn. The association considers him to be one of the six best apprentices currently working in the industry.
Abdulla has not only distinguished himself through his achievements in his training as a machining mechanic. The selection committee also highly valued his strong social skills. At the ‘Talentschmiede’ training centre at the LEIBER site in Emmingen-Liptingen, he is valued for his exemplary helpfulness and contributes significantly to the positive atmosphere in the LEIBER training workshop.
A true role model in many respects
Abdulla is also a role model in other respects: he came to Germany from Kosovo with his father in 2018 and not only quickly overcame language barriers, but also mastered the cultural challenges in his new home. After working in retail and as a machine operator, he began his training as a CNC mechanic at LEIBER in 2022. After completing his training in a shortened apprenticeship period, he will work as a permanent specialist at the Emmingen-Liptingen site.
We are proud of Abdulla and delighted that we have been able to impress the IMU Association jury for the third time with a trainee from our ‘Talentschmiede’. Congratulations to the award winner and also to our trainers, whose commitment and experience enable the next generation of talent to flourish professionally in our company.
