EMMINGEN-LIPTINGEN (jw) | The LEIBER Group is pleased to welcome its new apprentices. This year, three young men have embarked on their careers with vocational training in process technology, industrial mechanics, and machining. To ensure a smooth start, they will participate in a diverse onboarding program that offers valuable insights into the company and its operations.
This year, three young men have started their careers at the LEIBER Group, embarking on apprenticeships as a Process Technologist, Industrial Mechanic, and Cutting Machine Operator. As they take their first steps into professional life, trainer Carolin Bischoff, trainers Fabian Keller and Enes Sulejmanovic, as well as LEIBER's apprentices and dual-study students from higher year groups, extended a warm welcome to their new lightweight engineering colleagues.
The introductory phase is also dedicated to getting to know the company, its people, and its culture. A varied onboarding programme will support the new apprentices over the coming weeks as they settle into the home of lightweight aluminium engineering and quickly find their feet within the organisation.
One of the first highlights was the traditional apprentice excursion, which saw the entire next generation of "Lightweight Makers" enjoy an exciting day at the adventure forest on Mainau Island.
In total, 17 young women and men are currently completing an apprenticeship or dual-study programme at LEIBER. Strong Focus on Practical Experience
The LEIBER Group places great importance on providing both technical and commercial apprentices with vocational training that is as practical and hands-on as possible. For technical professions, this training takes place in the company's dedicated training center, the “Talentschmiede”. Through early integration into the specialist departments, apprentices gain first-hand insights into their future areas of work and quickly become familiar with day-to-day operations. At the same time, they have the opportunity to build relationships with their future colleagues from the very beginning.
